There's a picnic area one mile south of the visitor center on the Scenic Drive with tables, fire grills, rest rooms, drinking water, a lawn, and shade trees. Another picnic area is in the far south of the park at the top of the Burr Trail Switchbacks, near the trailhead to Lower Muley Twist Canyon.
