Everett Trailhead Details
One of the most iconic and scenic trails in the park, this trailhead primarily provides access to the county's jewel of a covered bridge. The bridge, which was constructed in 1877 to facilitate river crossing after a local citizen's death, is a stunning 130-foot remnant of a bye-gone era, and is only used for foot and horse traffic. The gravel trail leading to the bridge features several observation areas, vistas, and good photo spots, and is lined with lush mixed deciduous forest. This trailhead is also a popular access point for biking, bridal, and hiking trails, including the statewide Buckeye Trail.
