West Mountain, in the western park of the park, offers a number of trails and also offers a great scenic drive on West Mountain Drive. Visitors can access West Mountain from Prospect Avenue to the south. Along the way there are a number of parking areas where visitors can leave their cars to access trails such as the Oak Trail, West Mountain Trail, Mountain Top Trail and Sunset Trail. From the West Mountain Summit Overlook, visitors can see the Hot Springs Mountain Tower on Hot Springs Mountain to the east.
