Stevens Canyon Details

Stevens Canyon runs east-west in the southwestern corner of the park, separating Mount Rainier and the Tatoosh Range, and gives visitors access to the Paradise region from State Route 123. The 93-mile Wonderland Trail, which circumnavigates Mount Rainier, travels along the canyon floor passing through mossy forests and by a handful of waterfalls, from Stevens Creek near the trailhead just up from Box Canyon, to Unicorn Creek near the Bench and Snow Lakes area. Stevens Canyon Road runs through the canyon from Highway 123 to Paradise.
