Porcupine Flat Campground Details

Located on Tioga Road (Highway 120), this campground is about one hour and fifteen minutes north of Yosemite Valley. It can accommodate RVs up to 24 feet long and trailers up to 20 feet long. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis; the fee is $12 nightly per site, for up to six people. Pets are permitted. Each campsite has a fire ring, picnic table, and food locker, and is near a vault toilet. There is no potable water. Stream water must be treated by boiling, using a filter, or using iodine before use. The nearest dump stations are at Yosemite Valley (Upper Pines Campground) or Tuolumne Meadows Campground, about 30 minutes away. For groceries, you'll need to drive to Crane Flat or Tuolumne Meadows, also about 30 minutes away. Showers are down in the Valley at Half Dome Village and Housekeeping Camp.
