Clark Point Details
Those rushing from waterfall to waterfall often miss this little lookout between the damp Mist Trail and the dry John Muir Trail. This viewpoint offers magnificent bird's-eye views of Vernal Fall surrounded by tall pines and granite ledge, and striking vistas of Nevada Fall with Half Dome looming in the background. Via the Mist Trail, the trail has a number of stair steps and switchbacks and pretty views, while the John Muir Trail is longer but less steep.
