Winterfest Details
Denali is far less visited in winter than summer, but one event that does draw a crowd is the annual Winterfest. Held in late February, Winterfest includes a number of adult and family friendly activities spread out over five days, from homebrew tastings and star gazing to ice sculpting, snowshoeing, dog sled races, campfires, cultural productions, and presentations by Denali's artists-in-residence. Admission is free. Most events are held in and around the Murie Science and Learning Center, the park's winter visitor center.
