Ranger Guided Activities

Canyonlands has a fabulous variety of ranger-led activities. From spring through fall volunteers and park staff offer daily interpretive programs. Check with the Visitor Center as program types, times, and locations vary throughout the year and are subject to last-minute changes due to weather or other factors. Programs include guided hikes celebrating the 50th anniversary of Canyonlands, free evening presentations at the Squaw Flats Campground in the Needles District, free guided walks on various park trails and more. The Park's well-trained crew will explain the geology, human history and flora and fauna of the region to enhance your visit. Don't be surprised if these ranger-guided activities are the highlights of your trip to Southern Utah!
