Landscape Arch Details
Located in the Devils Garden, Landscape Arch is said to be the longest arch on earth at 290 feet. Part of the arch collapsed in 1991, giving the arch a fragile appearance, ready to tumble into the sand at any moment. This and other rock falls from the arch have caused the parks department to reroute the trail away from any potential danger. Geologists speculate that the arch may be nearing the end of its lifespan. Landscape Arch is a 30-minute walk on a maintained, sandy trail from the parking lot.
