Moose-Wilson Road starts at the park entrance, just past Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village, and runs to the Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center in Moose. The 8-mile (with 1.5 miles unpaved) road provides access to the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve, Phelps Lake and the Granite Canyon Trailhead along the way. The road travels through an area that is heavily populated with moose and black bear, and visitors frequently see these and other wildlife along the road.
