Farview Point Details
Farview Point easily lives up to its name with its long-distance views: from here you can look out over the Dixie National Forest to the Grand Staircase, with such landmarks as the Pink Cliffs of the Aquarius Plateau, the White Cliffs of Molly's Nipple, and perhaps even the Kaibab Plateau, where the North Rim of the Grand Canyon resides. To the south, look for Navajo Mountain. Thank the unpolluted, clear skies of southern Utah for the views, which can stretch up to 160 miles to the Black Mesas of Arizona. Once you've finished ogling the landscape from Farview Point, walk the short trail to Piracy Point, where a pair of rock formations suggest a pair of warships engaged in battle. There are pit toilets located at the Farview Point parking area.
