This short hike provides easy access to Glacier's alpine high country and is a perfect hike for those needing to stretch their legs while driving Going-to-the-Sun Road. The hike begins behind the Logan Pass Visitor Center and takes you to a viewing platform where you can look down on pretty alpine lake. During the short hike, keep your eyes scanning the nearby mountain faces for big horn sheep and mountain goats. Intrepid hikers can continue another 1.5 miles down to the lake shore. Just remember you'll have to come back up to get to your car. Remember, Glacier is grizzly country. Carry bear spray, make noise and travel in groups. The trailhead is behind the Logan Pass Visitor Center.
