Atwell Mill Campground is located 19 miles from Highway 198 on the Mineral King Road, which turns off in Three Rivers, and 6 miles before the end of the road. The campground is situated along the East Fork of the Kaweah River in a once logged sequoia grove. Opening and closing dates of areas and facilities may change depending on a variety of conditions: storms and related damage, water shortages, construction activities, hazard-tree concerns, and other issues.
