There are several options for lodging both within Sequoia and Kings Canyon and just outside the parks. In the Giant Forest area of Sequoia is Wuksachi Lodge, open all year. For reservations, call 1-888-252-5757. Kings Canyon National Park has Grant Grove Lodge and John Muir Lodge, open all year, and Cedar Grove Lodge, open in the summer and fall. For reservations at any of the three, call 877-436-9615. Bearpaw Meadow High Sierra Camp operates from mid-June to mid-September, weather permitting. This tent hotel is 11 miles out on the High Sierra Trail. You must make reservations, which are available for each season starting at 7:00 a.m. on Jan. 2.
