Driving Directions

You can reach Bryce Canyon National Park from several directions, but the most scenic route takes you through Zion National Park. If you're approaching the park from the south, take I-15 north to UT-9 (exit 16), then head east through Zion National Park to US-89. Travel north to UT-12, then go east to UT-63, which veers south to Bryce Canyon National Park. For an alternative scenic route (best experienced in summer and fall) with less traffic, take I-15 north to exit 59, then go east on 200 north, then south on Main Street to Center Street/UT-14. Travel east to US-89 north to UT-12. Follow UT-12 east to UT-63 and the park. Finally, northbound travelers can reach the park through Bear (Dog) Valley by taking I-15 north to UT-20 (exit 95), then driving east to US-89. Take US-89 south to UT-12 east to UT-63, which leads into the park. From the north, take I-15 south to UT-20 (exit 95) to US-89, then head south to UT-12 east to UT-63, which leads to the park. You can fly to the general vicinity of the park via the Las Vegas (LAS) and Salt Lake City (SLC) airports, both about 270 miles from the park. But you'll have to drive from there since there is no public transportation available.
