The park grounds are open year-round, 5 AM to 11 PM daily, offering everything from sunrise strolls to starlit views of the Arch. But seasonality still shapes the experience. Summer brings extended hours and vibrant crowds, while fall invites quieter walks beneath changing trees. Winter is peaceful, with crisp air and fewer visitors-perfect for a serene view of the Arch in solitude. Spring blooms with life as the city reawakens, making it an ideal time for scenic riverfront walks. The Gateway Arch Visitor Center and Museum are open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM in the off-season and 9 AM to 8 PM during summer months. Planning to ride the tram to the top? Be sure to arrive early-tickets often sell out and the last tram leaves one hour before closing. Holiday note: the park is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and December 24 in 2024. Security screening is required to enter the Arch, so factor in extra time during busy periods. While the Old Courthouse is temporarily closed for renovation, the park still offers plenty to explore across every season.
