Baxter Park is operated solely through user fees and interest from trust funds provided by Percival Baxter. Baxter State Park receives no tax dollars or other funds from the State of Maine. Fee Schedule Non-Resident Motor Vehicle Fee (payable only at the Matagamon and Togue gate): A day pass ($14) or season pass ($39) is required for all non-resident vehicles entering Baxter State Park. There is no vehicle fee assessed for Maine residents.
