Nesowadnehunk Field Details
Nesowadnehunk is the most remote of the Park's roadside campgrounds and provides easy access to Ledge Falls, a popular swimming spot during hot summer weather. This campground provides trailhead access to Russell Pond via the Wassataquoik Lake Trail and day hikes to Doubletop Mountain. Summer Season: Variable, opens no later than June 15 – Closes as early as Sept. 15 Winter Season: December 1 - March 31 Sites: 11 lean-tos 9 tentsites 4 person bunkhouse Facilities: Vault outhouses no showers Activities: Hiking Fishing Skiing (winter only) Backcountry Sites: Center Mountain (1 Lean-to) Little Wassataquoik Lake (1 Lean-to) Trail access to Russell Pond (Wassataquoik Lake Trail - 14 miles)
