The highest point in the Clark Range, 11,726-foot Merced Peak is in the southernmost part of Yosemite National Park. Close to the Ottoway Lakes, the mountain can be summited by following the Quartz Mountain trail over Chiquito pass, or from your choice of two Glacier Point Road trailheads.
