Yankee Jim's Swimming Hole Details

A hidden gem in the Tahoe National Forest, this swimming hole can be reached by driving 3 miles down a shaky dirt road that hugs the mountainside. Once you reach the river, you will notice a large suspension bridge stretching over the water. This iconic landmark is over 90 years old and is one of the biggest attractions in the park. The river is slow-moving, so it is perfect for swimming or inner-tubing. There are also boulders for sunbathing and some small waterfalls that you can play under.
