As the main beach in the charming town of Oxnard, this 5-mile stretch of sand is the perfect backdrop for some summer fun (although it is quite scenic during the other seasons as well). There is also room to sunbathe and even several nature paths for hiking or cycling. In addition to the public beach, there are also rolling dunes and wetlands, which attract wildlife and migrating birds. Even the endangered Least Tern and Snowy Plover come here to nest.
