Originally built as an army post in the early 1900s, this military fort is mostly known as being the headquarters for the 91st division army for WWI and WWII. The property has 25 buildings, a jetty, and multiple gun emplacements. Although the building and surrounding structures still remain, the fort is now used as a coast guard station, marina, yacht club, and museum. Visitors are also free to hike and wander the trails of the forest that cradle the property of the fort.
