Whiskeytown Falls Details

This three-tiered waterfall is one of the newer discoveries in the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. Although its existence was supposedly known a few years after the park opened in 1967, it remained off the radar to the public and even park employees until 2004. The waterfall is the tallest of the four falls in the park, which makes it a rewarding sight to see during your 3.4-mile hike.
