This hidden natural wonder in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is one of the more unique sites in California. It features 40-foot walls that were carved by flash floods over the last several thousands of years. It is possible to hike through the center of the gorge, although the canyon gets extremely narrow (it is only one foot wide in some places) as it twists and turns.
