This 307-acre sanctuary is a haven for birds and any wildlife watchers. With a diverse landscape of marshes, grasslands, and mudflats, the park attracts more than 300 different species of birds. And as it is located on the Pacific Flyaway migratory route, you will have the opportunity to see a mix of native and visiting creatures during your visit. The best time to visit is from fall to spring when migrating waterfowl and shorebirds can be spotted. Cackling Geese, Wilsons Warblers, Chestnut-backed Chickadees, and Marsh Wrens are just a small percentage of what can be seen.
