This beach has every type of activity you could ever want to participate in. The protected reef creates gentle but consistent swells, making this one of the best-surfing destinations in Orange County. It is also popular for body surfing, swimming, and fishing (there are also several lifeguard stations in case you have young children). Near the beach is a 7-acre grassy lawn where you can relax in the shade while still enjoying those dramatic ocean views. It is the perfect setting for a picnic, although the beach also has a seasonal snack bar if you forgot your lunch at home.
