McClures Beach Details
Escape the crowds and enjoy the pristine, untouched landscapes of the Point Reyes National Seashore coastline. Although it is not the largest beach in the area, it is one of the quietest, thanks to its remote location at the end of a 1/2 mile hiking trail. The shores are scattered with decaying driftwood and seashores, making this an excellent place for beachcombing or photography. You can also explore the rocky pools at low tide or the massive sea cliffs backing the beach. While the beach is good for relaxing, the strong current is not recommended for swimming.
