Capitola Beach

Famous for its rainbow-colored bungalows, delicious seafood restaurants, and charming boutique shops, this beach feels more Mediterranean than Californian. It overlooks the northern cove of Monterey Bay and features a long stretch of sand where you can lazily spend the day swimming, surfing, or sunbathing. When the sun starts to set, take a stroll down the Capitola Wharf. This 855-foot long pier has one of the best views of the village and surrounding landscapes.
