Three Sisters Waterfall Details

Although it requires a 2-mile trek through the Cuyamaca Foothills, this collection of small waterfalls have large, open pools where you can go swimming. If the water is deep enough, you can actually swim down the middle falls into the pool below. You can also follow the cream upstream to find a few more little pools where you can relax away from the other visitors. Keep in mind that you will have to make the 2-mile trek back out of the canyon to where you parked, so save your water and your energy for the return trip.
