Although popular with locals, this little beach on the northern end of Lake Tahoe has remained relatively untouched by mass tourism. It is situated at the end of a residential neighborhood and features a stretch of soft golden sand, crystal blue waters, and dozens of large, smooth boulders dotted offshore. The beach is very small (it can only comfortably fit 10 to 15 visitors), which adds to the exclusiveness of the place. Even if you can not find any room to lay out your towel, you can still bring a kayak to paddle around the rock formations in the water.
