Escondido Falls Details
When you think of swimming in Malibu, you probably picture golden sand beaches and ocean waves. But did you know that Malibu also has a waterfall that you can swim in? It is located along the Escondido Canyon Trail, less than a mile from the coast, which makes for an easy day trip if you are in Southern California. The main swimming hole is at the largest and furthest waterfall on the trail (you will see two others during your hike before you reach it). It is best to come after heavy rainfall when the pool is the deepest.
