Presidio & the Golden Gate Bridge Details
No trip to San Francisco would be complete with cycling along the waterfront. The ideal route is starting at Marina Green (one of the best viewpoints in the city) and traveling west towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Not only will you have amazing views of the bay, but you will also get to see the 1,500-acre Presidio, a former military post-turned recreational park. If you are feeling extra adventurous, you can also cross over the bridge itself. The view of downtown San Francisco from the Marin Headlands is definitely worth the windy ride.
