Modoc Line Rail Trail Details

Running between Wendel and McArthur Siding, this epic 86-mile bike ride crosses through some of the most rural and rugged landscapes of Northeastern California. You will pedal past mountain ranges (Skedaddle and Warner) and through barren sagebrush plains. At the moment, the trail is divided into three different sections Snowstorm Canyon, View land, and Sage Hen. Much of the trail is undeveloped and ungroomed, so make sure you have a durable mountain bike that is up for the challenge.
