Los Gatos Creek Trail Details
There are a lot of beautiful sights to see along this 11.2-mile trail that connects the Lexington Reservoir to San Jose. It parallels the Los Gatos Creek, a 24-mile tributary that flows from the Santa Cruz Mountains. Part of the trail is also a rail-to-trails conversion of the South Pacific Coast Railway that operated in the late 1800s. Besides the crystal clear creek and lush riparian surroundings, you will also pass by Oak Meadow, Vasona Lake County, and Los Gatos Creek Parks, where you can stop for lunch or restroom breaks. Eventually, this trail will connect to the Guadalupe River Trail that continues through San Jose to Alviso.
