A scenic alternative to State Route 12, this 8.5-mile long trail runs along the former tracks of the Petaluma and Santa Rosa Railroad. After the railway was shut down in the 1980s, it was converted into a paved pedestrian and cyclist path with picturesque views of Sonomas farmlands and mountains. It starts in downtown Santa Rosa and travels to Sebastopol.
