El Dorado Trail Details
This nearly 40-mile trail runs from Camino all the way to the border of Sacramento and El Dorado Counties. The part of the trail that travels through the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range is paved, but the rest of the journey is rather rugged and bumpy, so it is better suited for adventurous mountain bikers. If you need to make a pit stop, Placerville, Shingle Springs, and Weber Creek Bridge are a couple of places where you can rest or eat lunch.
