The route clocks in at 24 miles (13 of which is bike/pedestrian-only) as it travels down Silver Strand State Beach, past the iconic Hotel del Coronado, the US Naval Amphibious Base, and the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The most beautiful section of the path is along the water, where you will see the sparkling city skyline peeking between the rows of swaying palm trees lining the road. Do not worry about packing a lunch or tons of water there are many places along the way where you can grab lunch.
