Along the way, it passes suburban neighborhoods and the Ballona Wetlands (a great stopover for wildlife viewing). It also passes Baldwin Hills Mountains, where you will enjoy picturesque views of the Santa Monica Mountains in the distance. Although most of the journey is relatively calm and quiet, there are several freeway underpass crossings. But besides that, this ride is suitable for beginners and families.
