American River Trail Details

Stretching for 32-miles through the heart of the Central Valley is one of Americas longest multi-use bike paths. It follows the banks of the American River from Old Sacramento all the way to Folsom, making stops at neighborhood parks, swimming areas, and restaurants and cafes. You will get to enjoy the river views as you make two different crossings one at Guy West Bridge connecting to Stanford University or one at Fair Oaks Bridge in Gold River. The entire trail is well-paved and mostly flat, which makes this a great ride for all skill levels.
