Whiskeytown Falls Details

The cascading waterfall at the end of this hilly 2.7-mile journey is one of the prettiest features of the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. The falls are over 220-feet tall, which makes for an impressive and rewarding sight after a difficult walk through the woods. Swimming in the pool of the falls is also possible. Despite the steep uphill climb, this trail is very popular with locals and tourists. Come early if you want to have the falls to yourself.
