Solstice Canyon Trail Details

On this Malibu trail, you will not have to decide between ocean or forest because you will have both to admire during your trek. The 2-mile round trip hike starts with a walk through oak groves and shrubs before arriving at the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There is even a small creek and waterfall and ruins of a stone cottage from the mid-1800s. It is a moderate hike with a few steep inclines, although if you take it slow then it should be suitable for beginners or families.
