There are a lot of beautiful sites on this 6.5-mile trail from Pomo Canyon to the Sonoma Coast State Park. Not only do you have the Russian River and the Pacific Ocean on both sides of you, but there are also sandy beaches, redwood forests, wildflower fields, and trickling creeks for you to explore. The only difficult parts of the trail are the short incline at the beginning and the steep walk down to the campsite. Otherwise, it is a doable trail for most moderate hikers.
