You can still see the magnificent Lake Tahoe without embarking on a day-long hike! This trail is only a 2-miles roundtrip, which means it can be completed in under an hour. There are some great views along the way, as well as several waterfalls. Because of its accessibility, it can be very crowded on weekends, although you will still have plenty of room to spread out once you reach the actual lake.
