Ideal for beginners or families, this short but scenic trek to the top of Black Hill is one of the easiest Morros to climb in San Luis Obispo. The entire round trip journey is just 3 miles and only has one steep section closer towards the peak. Before you reach the summer, you will navigate a Flemings Forest which is filled with fragrant pines and mountainous wildlife. However, that is nothing compared to the beautiful views from atop the hill.
