Take a hike along the Ecological Staircase Trail, a 5-mile round trip journey through pine and cypress trees and over the soaring cliffs near the ocean. If time is limited, you can always do the first 1/2 mile of the trail (the Headlands Loop) or take a short walk down the beach.
