Step back in time as you walk through one of the most important sites from the American Revolutionary War. From 1776 to 1777, military fortifications were built in order to protect American troops from the encouraging British forces. Nowadays, you can walk the 7-miles of trails that lead through the meadows and woods of this property, admiring the Lake Champlain vistas and overlooks that American soldiers fought to protect. There is also a visitor center and museum where you can learn more about the war and events that took place at this site.
