Located in Calais near the intersection of Kent Hill Road, Old Church Road, and Robinson Cemetery Road, you will find a well-preserved historic hotel/tavern, general store, shoe factory, blacksmith shop, and home. What started off as one Greek Revival-style home evolved into a flourishing hamlet that remained inhabited until the mid-1950s, when it was eventually restored by the Vermont Historical Society.
