Fisher Covered Railroad Bridge Details

This wooden bridge was built in 1908 over the Lamoille River and used by the St. Johnsbury and Lamoille County Railroad lines. It is a classic double Town lattice-style structure, the only one of its kind in the state. The company ceased operations in 1994, leaving the bridge only to be admired by railfans and history buffs.
