Carved by the Ottauquechee River over thousands of years, this massive geological formation is one of the most scenic places to see in Vermont. The walls of the gorge are the deepest in the state, extending down over 165-feet towards the river and earning the rightful nickname of “Little Grand Canyon”. Besides admiring the views of the gorge, you can also come to the Quechee State Park for hiking, camping, or white water rafting.
