Camels Hump Details

Although it is only the third-largest mountain in Vermont, this natural wonder is still a unique attraction due to its two hump-shaped peaks. In fact, this mountain is so recognizable that it was chosen to be shown in Vermont state quarter. Hikers come far and wide to trek up to the peaks, which remain some of the most untouched and undeveloped compared to the rest of the Green Mountains. Most choose to hike the Burrows Trailhead, although it is also a beloved spot along the epic Long Trail.
